Komä

Komä’s music is brilliant and attractive like a quasar. Density grabs us.

Komä is born of ancient formations evolving to reach a certain maturity. There was Link in 2001 and Komä as a one-man band in 2004. A voyage through electro, pop and rock from the EP "Somewhere" released in 2008, gifted with success on the web, which will create an excellent first album Komä "The Universal Self" released in 2011 on MCR, distributed by Universal.

After many concerts, prestigious openings (Iggy & The Stooges, ZZ Top, Pete Doherty) and a multitude of showcases (Fnac, Virgin, Cultura) Komä mutates to give us an indie-pop rock, folk and alternative.

Always initiated by Aymeric Ardimanni, guitarist and singer and Didier Kwo with whom he also shares the writing, Julien Orschek on drums and first Lucas Henry on bass then the talented Daniel Marsala, Komä makes us travel in interstellar areas where emotion prevails, preserved feelings of the moment, and the valuable experience of each in the service of a singularly attractive universe. They hold the secret of touching songs that grabs us from the guts.

Playing with the formats they are capable of delivering both unintentional hits ("Lion Day") or longer and atmospheric tracks ("Away"); method that is reminiscent of the unbridled progressive rock era, cows album cover, and needs to tell the emphasis of an inextricable world in which we live.

Endowed with a rich history and influences perfectly digested and transcended, Komä released an EP, directed by the brilliant Medi in A-Spot studios, on May the 12th, 2014, announcing the colors of their next album.

Bet all the telescopes around the world will soon discover them and their magnitude reaches us all...
