Lion Day

A lion is trying to arouse

Ignoring gently its loving spouse

Protecting its domain like a king

Unaware it’s killing everything

It changes our views among our lies

Controlling everything you’ve seen that’s been

This little child is gonna cry

This world is too small for its spleen

It’s never full  -  It shows no rules

It tastes like gold  -  It’s never sold

It never stops being the king

It loves us never being too keen

It’s not that we don’t need its light

Whatever the days whatever the nights

We’re just numbers on a giant telephone

It’s never full  -  It shows no rules

It tastes like gold  -  It’s never sold

Maybe we’re just its lust

Waiting just to burst

Knowing it will be worse
